Punktendo lets you play punk versions of classic video games

This has been a good week for video games. The worlds of punk-rock and Nintendo have finally come together. Noisey recently found out about Punktendo, a video game emulator that is free to play and lets you play punk-rock versions of classic Nintendo games.

Some of the titles include  “Fat Mike’s Golf,” “Masked Intruder’s Alley,” “Milo Fu,” and “Dan Zig,” which turns the former Misfit into Mega Man.

“It took a couple weeks to learn how to mod my first Nintendo game and learn how to change the sprites in games, but there’s a huge resource for learning that on the internet,” creator Jeff Hong told Noisey. “Now it takes me a day or two to change a game.”

Play Punktendo here, and let us know what you think.
