PVRIS release gritty remix of the Aces track "Last One"

PVRIS have remixed The Aces’ track “Last One” and it’s actually pretty amazing.

This isn’t the first time the two groups joined forces. Last fall, Lynn Gunn stepped in to perform with the band in a Chicago show when their guitarist couldn’t make it.

In case you’ve never seen it, you can check out some footage of that below.

So at least Gunn is definitely familiar with the bands’ songs, so the PVRIS remix makes sense. You can listen to their remix of “Last One” below.

In other news, Gunn has been teasing new PVRIS music, which we’re desperate for since we haven’t gotten a release from the group since 2017.

The vocalist shared some unheard sound clips via an Instagram post and a few stories, teasing fans with the caption “Betchu wanna hear the rest huh.”

Gunn previously mentioned the band were at work on new tunes in October.

“AWKOHAWNOH touring cycle has been done for a hot sec… never really said anything to close it out bc it felt weird and we kind of immediately jumped into what’s coming next… for those curious… we’ve been workin on new music and will be for a bit…

“That being said, it was an extremely weird/hard/beautiful cycle but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I truly feel it prepared us for whatever happens on this next one… thanks for all the love through it. ♥️”

The news followed an interview Gunn did with Billboard in August where she discussed “the early stages.”

“I actually had a session yesterday with a new person to try collaborating with as a producer, and it went really well. We had a cool time,” she says.

The singer also revealed that the band started working on the project earlier in the year, and she did a lot of writing in Los Angeles during the winter, “just meeting with new people to team up with and seeing who vibes and who doesn’t.”

While the new clip is rather skim, Gunn did share a desire to keep fans updated. “I want to start documenting more of the recording process, because no one’s really seen it,” she tells Billboard.

If you can’t wait for more from the band, you can catch them at Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds’ LOVELOUD Festival June 29.

The band will join Reynolds, Kesha, Tegan And Sara, K.Flay, Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers and more
