PVRIS snake their way through a cult in “Death Of Me” video

PVRIS have finally released their sinister new video for “Death of Me,” the band’s first single from their upcoming album.

Earlier this week, the band announced the video was coming after quite a few teasers.

Back in October, PVRIS vocalist Lynn Gunn mentioned the band were at work on new tunes.

“AWKOHAWNOH touring cycle has been done for a hot sec… never really said anything to close it out bc it felt weird and we kind of immediately jumped into what’s coming next… for those curious… we’ve been workin on new music and will be for a bit…

“That being said, it was an extremely weird/hard/beautiful cycle but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I truly feel it prepared us for whatever happens on this next one… thanks for all the love through it. ♥️”

Then, in April, she shared some unheard sound clips via an Instagram post and a few stories, teasing fans with the caption “Betchu wanna hear the rest huh.”

After that, a few weeks ago, Gunn gave us that new music could soon be on the horizon. She posted a photo of herself at a piano with the caption, “Hi. We may or may not be shooting a video today. That is all. Xoxo”

Now, at long last, we have the video. It’s super dark and definitely has a cult vibe going on, complete with creepy snakes and an overall tense atmosphere. You can see it for yourself and listen to the new song below.

The new song is the band’s first release since 2017’s All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell.
