QOTSA honor Foo Fighters with 'Everlong' tribute during Cal Jam set

Both bands were playing during the Cal Jam festival, and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme took it upon himself to tease “Everlong” during an interlude (with ludes) in the song.

It was certainly a nice move from Home to reference his rock and roll brother Dave Grohl, who previously recorded an album with Homme and John Paul Jones as Them Crooked Vultures, and a treat for fans in attendance. It also makes sense that the two would mash things up a bit, given the fact that the two bands are kicking off a tour together soon.
