Queen fans can own Freddie Mercury’s handwritten setlist, here’s how

Ever wanted to own a piece of Queen history? It looks like that’s finally going to be a possibility for you diehard fans out there.

Queen has seen something of a massive comeback ever since the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody hit theaters, with merchandise selling like hotcakes left and right. Now, someone’s come forward with their own incredibly rare handwritten Queen setlist, autographed by Freddie Mercury himself, to sell to one lucky fan.

TMZ reports that the mystery seller of this priceless piece of rock history is working in tandem with memorabilia outfit Moments in Time to find a buyer for the setlist, which has an asking price of $35,000. It comes with a letter of authenticity straight from the Queen fan club, and it’s teeming with personal touches from Mercury himself.

The setlist hails from an April 13, 1978 performance in Copenhagen, Denmark where the band roared through popular tunes like “We Are The Champions” and “Bohemian Rhapsody,” of course. Mercury had written the songs down for himself as a reminder of what the show would hold, and it looks like a blazing hot set that we would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at. From “Sheer Heart Attack” to even a cover of Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock,” the list has a tune for just about every member of Queen’s fanbase, and it can be yours for just under the price of a new car.

If you’ve got the cash to blow, it seems like a small price to pay for something this monumentous and legendary – especially with Freddie’s handwritten “Hotel!!” at the end of the setlist. Even rockstars needed a break sometimes, and this reminder of Mercury behind the mask is honestly worth the cash alone.
