Queen tweets heartwarming Golden Globes post with Rami Malek

The Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody won big at the 76th Golden Globes, and the band celebrated with a heartwarming photo with the cast and producers.

Bohemian Rhapsody was only up for two Golden Globes, and won both of them. The band posted an adorable photo on the official Twitter account of Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor with cast members Rami Malek and Mike Myers. Producers Jim Beach and Graham King are also seen overjoyed in one photo.

In the same post, May and Taylor shared a solo shot with Malek to celebrate his win. They caption the post with a Freddie Mercury quote that made us tear up.

“’We’re family. We believe in each other. That’s everything.’ – Freddie Mercury,” the post reads.

Malek beat out Bradley Cooper (A Star Is Born), Willem Dafoe (At Eternity’s Gate), Lucas Hedges (Boy Erased) and John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman) in the “Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama” category for his portrayal of Mercury.

He thanked Mercury and the fellow Queen members in his acceptance speech.

The film also won the “Best Motion Picture – Drama” category. It beat Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, If Beale Streat Could Talk and A Star Is Born.

The awards were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh co-hosted the show, which aired live on NBC Jan. 6. Check out the full list of winners here.

The Queen chronicles the band from 1970 to their performance at Live Aid in 1985. The film was a huge success, as it  broke records when it became the second highest grossing music biopic in history upon its successful opening weekend.
