Queen guitarist shouts out P!ATD for “Bohemian Rhapsody” cover

Yesterday, Queen guitarist Brian May gave major props to Panic! At the Disco for their performance at the 2018 American Music Awards.

As one of Panic!’s major influences, it is safe to say that Brendon Urie is probably geeking out a tiny bit.

A few months back at the AMAs in Sydney, the band covered Queen’s powerhouse track, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” With the Queen biopic fresh in the news, the song choice made perfect sense.

However, it wasn’t until Friday evening that May expressed his love for the cover.

“Nice job, guys,” May says in an Instagram post. “Big Big thanks ! Panic at the Disco performing live and dangerous at the American Music Awards.”
