Queens Of The Stone Age reportedly complete mixing of their new album

Queens Of The Stone Age have finished mixing their upcoming album, the band's seventh, according to a report from Loudwire.

A photo posted on Instagram shows QOTSA's key members—frontman Josh Homme, guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and drummer Jon Theodore—posing in the studio at what appears to be Lurssen Mastering in Burbank, CA. This would seem to indicate that the new record is completely mixed, mastered and ready for release. Take a look at the pic below.

The image was posted by Arthur Dénouveaux of Left Front Door Records, with the succinct and cheeky caption, “An album just got mixed…”

AP previously reported that the new Queens album could possibly be titled Twenty Five. The first single, apparently called “Head Boy Machine,” is rumored to be released around the time of the band's Australia and New Zealand tour in July. Check out those dates after the post.
