AP previously reported that QOTSA apparently have a new album in the can, but additional details remain scant. Is this cryptic message—reading, “Coming: Twenty Five“—a first look at album artwork? Check it out below.

As gathered by Loudwire, the Queens' secretive social media post probably doesn't mean a 25th band anniversary. (They formed in 1996, 21 years ago.)

The band have also released a new T-shirt with the same “Shatter Q” image, lending credence to the notion that this may be related to a forthcoming release. The last QOTSA full-length was …Like Clockwork in 2013.

Is new Queens Of The Stone Age on the way?

Will Twenty Five be the next QOTSA record?

What do you think it means?
