‘Queer Eye’ name-drops Paramore, Alkaline Trio in new season
It looks like there’s another TV show that we have to watch. Recently, episodes of Queer Eye made mention of scene favorites Paramore and Alkaline Trio.
If you have never seen the reality show, the premise is relatively simple. Similar to What Not To Wear, five gay men perform the ultimate makeover on someone, usually a straight man, who needs it the most. The Fab Five go in and revamp the contestant’s style, home and food habits.

However, recently it seems that the show is familiar with what we love the most. In the case of Paramore, a superfan of the band was actually featured on the show. The fan actually has a tattoo dedicated to her favorite Paramore song, “Last Hope.” Check out the fan’s tattoo below.

Additionally, one of the recurring cast members mentioned Alkaline Trio.
“What is the song that can best describe how you feel in this very moment,” hairdresser Jonathan Van Ness asks in an episode. “And don’t let it be some shit I’ve never heard of. I don’t want it to be Alkaline Trio, like some rock band I don’t know.”

However, this isn’t the first time that members close to the scene have been involved with the show. Last July, fans apparently wanted Post Malone to undergo a makeover.
After getting an overflowing number of requests to perform an overhaul on the rapper, the Fab Five’s culture aficionado, Karamo Brown took to Twitter to ask what all of the fuss was about.
Soon enough, Post Malone caught sight of the tweet and said it was because fans thought he was “ugly and smell[y].”
Lol why does everyone want @PostMalone to be on the show. Did he request it?
