Rare TV teaser for Nirvana's 'In Utero' surfaces ahead of deluxe 20th anniversary reissue

Nirvana's classic (and final) album, In Utero, turns 20 this Sept., and, as with Nervermind two years ago, it will receive a deluxe reissue to mark the occasion.

The Steve Albini-recorded album marked a huge sonic departure from the group's breakthrough, Nevermind, and spawned hits like “Heart-Shaped Box” and “All Apologies.” Tragically, frontman Kurt Cobain took his own life less than eight months after the album's release.

A rare (and potentially NSFW) television teaser from In Utero's 1993 release has been posted online, to build anticipation for the reissue. It features the band taking a pregnancy class from comedian Bob “Bobcat” Goldthwait, all in drag, before ultimately “giving birth.”

Watch the teaser below.

Pre-order information and further details about In Utero's reissue are expected to arrive soon.
