Record Store Day launches "Back To Black Friday" with releases from Silversun Pickups, Nirvana, more

Not content to let big-box stores and malls have all the fun on the day after Thanksgiving, the organizers of April's annual Record Store Day are getting into the shopping frenzy with a celebration they're dubbing “Back To Black Friday.” On November 25, patrons of select independent record stores will be able to purchase rare, limited-edition vinyl from bands such as Fear, Nirvana, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Wilco, Silversun Pickups and many others. The latter's release, “Seasick,” is rather cool: It's a 10-inch vinyl record featuring three previously unreleased tunes, including the title track, “Broken Bottles” and “Ribbons & Detours.” For a full list of special items available, go here.
