The Red Hot Chili Peppers proved themselves capable of keeping the show going no matter what. After a power outage interrupted their set after the first song, RHCP’s Flea took it upon himself to keep the crowd entertained.

The band played their very first Tasmania show of their career tonight, February 17. They opened with “Can’t Stop” before transitioning into “Pea”.

However, things came to a crashing halt shortly after the song’s intro when a power outage brought their set to a dead stop.

A concert-goer told ABC that the power cut out to each mic one-by-one until only Flea’s mic remained.

The bassist continued to sing solo until finally his mic cut out as well.

The glitch added a 15-minute delay to the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ set, but fortunately, the crowd did not go without entertainment.

According to The Mercury, Flea took it upon himself to keep the crowd occupied during this sudden cut of power by doing handstands.

That’s one way to entertain a crowd.

Fans were appreciative of his efforts, taking to Twitter to praise his spontaneous display.

Red Hot Chili Peppers light up Grammys stage

Post Malone and Red Hot Chili Peppers stole the Grammys stage with an explosive collaborative performance we can’t forget.

Malone started his set with an emotional acoustic performance of “Stay” complete with moody fog and a skull-adorned jacket. He showed off his amazing vocal chops and only made us love him more.

He then lightened the mood with a rendition of “Rockstar” before transitioning into his collab with the Chili Peppers. Malone played guitar with the band for “Dark Necessities” and sang backing vocals.

Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis even took his shirt off during the set, which was somewhat confusing but we don’t hate it.
