Red Hot Chili Peppers release ‘Unlimited Love,’ first album with John Frusciante since 2006

Red Hot Chili Peppers have released their 12th studio album, Unlimited Love. The record is their first full-length with acclaimed guitarist John Frusciante since 2006.

To celebrate, they’ve also shared a music video for “These Are The Ways.”

In addition, the band are set to perform a never-before-attempted, simultaneous set on both The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight. Could this be an April Fools’ prank? You’ll have to tune in to find out.

In the visual, vocalist Anthony Kiedis is on the run after he shoplifts from a convenience store to feed his pregnant partner. The rest of the band serve as bystanders in the chase as Kiedis chants, “These are the ways when you come from America.”

The album arrives shortly after Red Hot Chili Peppers received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They’ve also received their own SiriusXM channel, “Whole Lotta Red Hot.”
