Reflections release lyric video for new single, "Shadow Self"

As they prepare to release their upcoming album, The Color Clear, on September 18, Twin Cities metalcore band Reflections are sharing a lyric video for their crushing new single, “Shadow Self,” (via Substream). You can stream the semi-NSFW track below.

On the single, vocalist Jake Wolf explains, “This track comes from a very dark place. It is about how I let the people I once held close change me and drive me into a place mentally where I developed a second personality. For years, I could not look myself in the mirror. I hated who I was. I had no idea what I believed in, what or who I cared about and I especially had no clue who cared about me.”

The Color Clear is available for pre-order now in both digital and physical formats. Beginning tomorrow, September 5, in Detroit, you can catch Reflections on a run of tour dates in support of their album with the bill being rounded out by Toothgrinder, Yüth Forever and Exalt. Following that trek, Reflections will support Texas In July on their final tour in November and December. The routings for both runs can be found below.
