The trippy Ricky And Morty-themed tattoo has gone viral, thanks in part to its inventive use of chroma keying. Rowlett says it works the same as video compositing and visual effects in post-production for TV and film, as reported by BuzzFeed.

“You saturate an area of skin with green, or any other color depending on how good you are with the software,” he says of the green screen process. “Then [you] use video editing software or an app on your phone to overlay a video.”
