Riot Fest announce presale tickets for their anniversary with festive video

Riot Fest will be turning 15, and to celebrate the festival’s milestone anniversary, the organizers will be offering a limited supply of early bird tickets.

The festival revealed the news with a Christmas Story-inspired video, and it’s seriously festive.

Riot Fest will be returning to Chicago, Illinois next year, and it is set to take place from Sept. 13 through Sept. 15, with the lineup of the upcoming festival still to be announced.

Early Bird tickets are set to go on sale this Thursday, Dec. 6, at 6 am CST, with ticket prices set to start at $115 (check out the holiday-themed video below!)

Of the festival’s 15th anniversary, founder Michael Petryshyn (“Riot Mike”) has shared:

“If someone would have asked me during the thralls of the very first Riot Fest if it would be around some 15 years later, I would have surely—with blenched eyes—shook my head. But, somehow, with plenty of ups and downs, we’ve been able to throw this party year after year. And if nothing else, that’s a testament to the fans who support us. They’re by our side….always have been. So, I’m going to make sure that Riot’s 15th Anniversary is going to be special and filled with surprises.”

Riot Fest lineup rumors:

While we’re pretty excited, and totally in the Christmas spirit now, we can’t help but wonder who will be headlining the upcoming festival. To add fuel to the lineup fire, the festival teased fans with a simple tweet: “282 days until Riot Fest and still no lineup.”

We may have to wait a little longer for an official lineup announcement, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any theories on who will be making an appearance on the lineup.

Back in September, we reported that blink 182 had to cancel their 2018  headlining set at Riot Fest Chicago, but it was also reported that they had plans to return to Riot Fest in 2019 for the festival’s 15-year anniversary.

As of right now, blink 182 hasn’t shared anything further on their current touring plans.
