'Riverdale' star KJ Apa is in a band and it's phenomenal

If you’re a Riverdale star like myself, you’re already aware of the musical talents Archie Andrews (AKA our beloved KJ Apa) displays frequently throughout the show. Now, Apa is taking his talents off-screen with his band The Good Time Boys.

And Apa isn’t the only Riverdale star in this small indie band. Rob Raco, who plays Joaquin DeSantos on the show, can be found sitting behind the drum kit.

The band also includes Apa on guitar, Josh Wyper on vocals/keys, and Alex Hooch on bass.

Just a few short weeks ago, The Good Time Boys surprised some unsuspecting Vancouver fans with a secret show.

They performed an 8-song set of covers for a shocked and stunned crowd at Guilt & Company.

Oh how we wish we were there.

The Good Time Boys didn’t stop there, making their U.S. debut just last night at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party.

KJ Apa was joined onstage at this event by Raco, Wyper, and Bradley Merryfield. Riverdale star Hart Denton even joined the band for a song!

The set included some original material as well as a few covers including “You Only Live Once” by the Strokes and Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.”

You can check out some fan-shot footage from these performances, below!
