It took Cuomo almost all of 2021 to create the app. On Weezify, you can follow curated playlists and create playlists with your favorite tracks. He unveiled the app, which is available on both Apple and Google Play, on Twitter, writing, “Tired of Spotify? Come on over to Weezify.”

Cuomo previously sold thousands of demos (2,655, to be exact) online as part of a final project for a course in web programming in 2020. The material was from throughout his career, including everything from unreleased Weezer ideas to work when he was just 6 years old.

He asked those who purchase the demos to not share them publicly, adding, “Please let me know if there’s anything I wouldn’t want public in all the voice notes. I never thought I would be releasing those. I don’t know what’s in them. Thank you.”
