Riviera premiere new music video for “Make Believe”–watch

The perfect blend of pop punk and punk rock, West Virginia natives Riviera have premiered a killer new video for their energetic track “Make Believe” as they prepare to head out to sea for Warped Rewind.

Coming from the band's debut EP A New Place Like Home which was released earlier this year, “Make Believe” is a track Riviera hopes all of their fans will really connect with.

““Make Believe” is a bittersweet double meaning song about a personal situation where I met someone who sparked my soul in a way I’d thought impossible, but, wound up too good to be true just like a fairy-tale.” says Riviera. “I hope the song can give you the strength to finally talk to that person who has infatuated your mind or help you mend the deepest cut.”

The band hopes this track along with the others on the EP will provide fans with an escape from whatever they might be dealing with, even if only for a short while.

“Music to me has always been a way to reflect emotion that rarely gets an opportunity to surface itself. If done correctly the listener should be able to escape their own personal reality and enter the writers if only for a moment; to think and perceive what they experienced in the instance of the songs creation. To some people it can heal and work as a figurative bandage or as a literal mental medicine. For others it can be the catalyst giving them that courage to take a leap they’d never thought possible.”
