Rob Zombie teases new ‘3 From Hell’ character with menacing photo
Rob Zombie dropped several sneak peeks at his upcoming 3 From Hell ahead of the first official teaser last month. While the first clip and release date have been revealed, that doesn’t mean Zombie is done with the teasers.
The director/musician took to his social media to share another look at a character, and this time, it’s not one of the Firefly threesome.

The series of horror movies started with 2003’s House Of 1000 Corpses and continued with 2005’s The Devil’s Rejects, both also by Zombie. Fans have been waiting for the next film for more than ten years, and the first trailer highlights the two past films.
While the trailer follows Sheri Moon Zombie as Baby Firefly, Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding and Bill Moseley as Otis Firefly, there are a few glimpses of some fresh blood.
One said character is seen wearing a Lucha libre wrestler-like mask and firing off a gun. Now, Zombie is sharing more information on the character played by Emilio Rivera.

“Meet Aquarius, leader of The Black Satans played by @emiliorivera48,” Zombie writes on Instagram. “This cat does not mess around. I wonder how he fits into the world of 3 FROM HELL ????”
Rivera is best known for portraying Marcus Alvarez in Sons Of Anarchy and Mayans M.C. spinoff. He also has roles in Venom and Z Nation. Check out his 3 From Hell look below.

While the movie has been done filming for quite a while, Zombie had to clarify it was not ready to hit theatres quite yet. Last week, Zombie finally shared exactly when we can expect the new film along with a new poster and a special event.
“Check out the official THREE FROM HELL teaser poster!!!!!” he writes on Instagram. “Also go to FATHOMEVENTS.COM for info on a special 3 night event!!! See 3 FROM HELL before anyone else!!! FYI this will be the UNRATED CUT of 3 FROM HELL! I REPEAT THIS IS THE UNRATED CUT!!!!!!”

As the poster states, “evil returns” this September. Zombie partnered with Fathom Events to present a special, three-night event allowing fans to see the film before anyone else.
3 From Hell will hit 900 theaters Sept. 16, 17 and 18 with tickets going on sale here beginning July 19. The unrated version will play with special bonus content each night, according to Bloody Disgusting.

On Sept. 16, there will be a video introduction from Zombie himself, and the first 50 moviegoers at each theater will receive an exclusive poster. On Sept. 17, there will be a 30-minute behind-the-scenes feature giving fans a look at the making of the film. On Sept. 18, there will be a double feature of predecessor The Devil’s Rejects followed by 3 From Hell.
“This event is a long time coming,” Zombie says. “The journey of these characters has always been special to me and I am thrilled to finally let the fans experience the next episode of the Firefly madness. This project was a true labor of love for everyone involved and we know we have created something amazing for the loyal followers of these films. Let the insanity begin!”
