The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is reopening with new precautions
As the world phases out of coronavirus lockdown, many establishments are planning to reopen their doors. This week, AMC said most of its global theaters will be reopened by mid-July. As well, Disney is also planning to reopen its Florida parks this summer. Now, it looks like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will be opening next week.
In a new statement, the Cleveland museum announced it will reopen on June 15. However, a number of regulations will be set in place for future visitors.

Back in March, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame canceled a number of events as the pandemic progressed. Shortly after canceling its induction ceremony, the museum closed its doors alongside various other museums worldwide. The 2020 induction ceremony was set to honor Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., T. Rex and more.
Now, the museum is preparing to welcome back visitors on June 15. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is working closely with health experts as it plans to reopen to the public next week.
For those planning to visit the museum, temperature checks are required prior to entry and safe social distancing measures will be encouraged. As well, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will be doing continuous daily cleaning and is placing hand sanitizing stations throughout the museum. Staff and guests are required to wear masks indoors.
The museum will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and advanced tickets can be purchased online. Live music on the plaza will resume in July on Thursday and Saturday evenings.

Along with the health and safety museums, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is also introducing early 10 a.m. access for teachers on Mondays, vulnerable fans on Tuesdays, Rock Hall members on Saturdays and health care workers on Sundays.

As a salute to frontline workers, the museum is offering a special free admission day for healthcare workers and their families. Set to take place on Sunday, June 14, all of the free tickets for this admission day have already sold out.
Future museum guests will also have to plan their trip ahead of time. All tickets to visit the museum will have to be purchased in advance. This is to ensure that the museum can manage daily capacity limits.
The rescheduled 2020 induction ceremony is now taking place Saturday, November 7. HBO will be doing a live broadcast of the ceremony starting at 8 p.m. EST.
