‘Rocky Horror’ castle is a real hotel fans can stay in

The iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show castle is actually a hotel. That’s right folks, you can now do the “Time Warp” in the luxury of your own hotel room for a night (or two).

Professionally known as Oakley Court, the grounds have 118 bedrooms, Hornet suggests that fans of the film request to stay in one of the nine “mansion suites” in the hotel, as those were actually used in the filming of the cult classic.

Oakley Court is located just 20 minutes from London’s Heathrow Airport in Bray, England. You can take a peek at what the iconic hotel has to offer below. 

Additionally, this summer the hotel will show a screening of Rocky Horror on Aug, 25. Fans who secure an overnight accommodation, which costs around £260, can enjoy the screening, a full breakfast and a buffet on the hotel’s lawns.

According to Hornet, the hotel has been a shooting location for other classic horror films in the past, such as The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), Theater of Blood (1973) and The Brides of Dracula (1960).

Rocky Horror has become a cult classic for theater fans and horror-lovers alike. The film repeatedly gets screenings at theaters across the nation, especially around Halloween, where actors act out the film live in from of the projection.
