Ryan Key (Yellowcard) has foot surgery, will sit onstage to start Warped Tour

Yellowcard frontman Ryan Key recently underwent foot surgery and will be seated onstage for the first couple of shows of Vans Warped Tour, which kicks off June 16 in Salt Lake City. Here's what Key had to say about it:

“Hey everyone.

I have some unfortunate news. It is nothing too serious, but I had to have a medical procedure on the bottom of my right foot which is going to prevent me from putting any weight on it for 2 full weeks. Everything went fine and it will be healed up soon, but it looks like I’ll have to be sitting down on stage for the first couple of shows on the Vans Warped Tour. So I’m going to need everyone out there to step it up and make up for my lack of mobility up there! The first show of the tour is in Salt Lake City. In 2007 I remember seeing police officers climbing a chain link fence to get out of the madness that was happening in the crowd. I expect nothing less this year, even though I’ll be stuck in a chair!
