Sad Summer Festival reveal more bands for inaugural lineup—UPDATED

UPDATE: MAY 16, 7:45 P.M. EST

Sad Summer Festival has recently revealed which bands are playing in what cities, including the recent additions and special guests. While some bands are playing in different cities than others, each stop will feature the Maine, Mayday Parade, State Champs, Mom Jeans, Stand Atlantic and Just Friends.

As warmer weather begins rapidly approaching, Sad Summer Festival has announced a new round of artists to be added to their upcoming tour.

Back in April, the festival teased that more bands would be added soon. Now, just a month later, the festival has delivered.

This afternoon, the festival announced seven more artists joining the lineup for select dates: Grayscale, Oh, Weatherly, Jetty Bones, Ashland, Shortly, Worriers and World’s Greatest Dad. According to an Instagram post, the festival will reveal which dates the aforementioned artists will be playing Thursday, May 16.  

This year, the festival will welcome State ChampsMayday Paradethe Wonder Years and the Maine to the stage in headlining slots.

Additionally, Mom Jeans, Stand Atlantic and Just Friends will also play the festival.

In addition to performances, the festival will feature interactive activities, exclusive merch and more to be announced at a later date.

Sad Summer Fest is also incorporating a nonprofit partner with more information to be announced later. That partner will be on-site to provide education and resources to fans.
