Say Anything cancel Riot Fest appearance, citing medical concerns

Say Anything have abruptly canceled their planned appearance at Riot Fest Chicago, citing “pressing and unavoidable medical issues” involving an unnamed band member.

Riot Fest, which just announced all of its set times, will take place this weekend, Sept. 13-15, at Humboldt Park.

Say Anything are expected to release a new album in 2014. Check out a statement about the cancelation, from the group's Facebook, below:

“Hey y'all, with one of our members dealing with some pressing and unavoidable medical issues, we regretfully have to pull out of Riot Fest. Suffice to say we are bummed. Our sincere apologies to anyone hoping to see us. Meanwhile, you guys enjoy the great line up at Riot this year and we promise to make it up when we tour our new record in 2014.

Love,
max”
