Seaway release video for "Freak" with footage from the band's high school years

Earlier this week, Canadian pop-punkers Seaway announced their new Pure Noise Records full-length, Colour Blind, which will be released through the label on October 23. Other than a brief teaser, there was little information revealed but the band promised a new song and pre-order options in the coming days. Seaway have delivered.

In a press release, vocalist Ryan Locke says, “While recording 'Colour Blind,' we as a band agreed that 'Freak' should be the first song released to the masses. It embodies the fun, playful feel that we were going for when writing and recording the album. 'Freak' is about being an outcast and a weirdo, but being completely okay with it. The video accompanying the song is archived footage that our friend Miguel Barbosa of YEAH! Films fame shot during our high school years. Back then we would run a muck of parties that we snuck into because we were too weird to be invited to. Outcasts of the world, don't be afraid to let your freak flag fly.”

You can watch the '90s home video-style lyric visuals for “Freak” below where you can also find Seaway's upcoming tour dates with Knuckle Puck, Sorority Noise and Head North and the cover art for the new album. Pre-orders for Colour Blind are available now on CD and vinyl.
