Senses Fail try to win Demi Lovato’s love in new video—UPDATED

It looks like Demi Lovato saw Senses Fail’s video, and she’s definitely a fan.

The singer tweeted, “Also I love you Senses Fail. Your video is everything.”

She also took to her Instagram story to declare her “inner emo kid” is dying. And honestly, same.

Senses Fail love Demi Lovato, and they don’t care who knows it in their latest video for “Elevator To The Gallows.”

The band embraced a concept of “How to win Demi Lovato’s love,” working their hardest to win over the singer.

From learning how to dance, amping up their look, working out and creating her favorite snacks, the band put their all into a Lovato-inspired boot camp.

While the video captures fun between the band, it’s a stark contrast to the song’s message. The lyrics capture what frontman Buddy Nielsen was grappling with while his wife faced extreme complications after their daughter Penelope’s birth.

And while the band are hoping to gain Lovato’s attention with the new video, they are doing so for a serious reason.

“We are all big fans of Demi,” the band says. We’ve tried to [at] her on Twitter but to no avail! So we took the logical next step and made a video devoted to winning her attention.

“Having personally struggled with addiction, I know all too well what Demi has been through. We want her to know Senses Fail loves her and wishes her the very best! Your best friends who you don’t know yet, Senses Fail.”
