Set It Off are teasing something—UPDATED

UPDATE: JULY 23, 4:15 P.M. EST

Set If Off are continuing to creep us out with their latest update.

The band are all present in the clip, sitting on a bed with imagery that looks like it was pulled straight from The Shining. The four-piece are positioned near the camera with their eyes closed as the ominous ticking continues and “12:00” appears again on a clock in the background. Some horror movie-worthy music interjects and all four members snap awake. Fingers crossed that the big reveal happens sooner rather than later.

The teasers just keep getting more and more enticing.

Set It Off took to their accounts Sunday afternoon to reveal a third clip featuring guitarist Zach DeWall. As the clock continues to click in the background, DeWall draws an hourglass on a steam-covered shower door. With only frontman Cody Carson left to make an appearance, we’re hoping we’re close to the big reveal.

UPDATE: JULY 21, 4:35 P.M. EST

Set It Off have posted yet another teaser to their social media accounts.

This time, the clip focuses on the back of drummer Maxx Danziger. A blue tint washes over the frame again as he taps his fingers on a desk and a clock ticks in the background. There is even less to deduce from this than their previous posts, so it looks like we’ll all be waiting like Danziger for whatever Set It Off reveal next.

UPDATE: JULY 20, 4:15 P.M. EST

Set It Off posted another teaser to their social media accounts.

The clip begins upside down, looking out a window as sirens wail in the background. The camera flips upright and pans to guitarist Dan Clermont staring at their diamond logo before it goes black. Once the screen returns, there is a blue tint as “12:00” flashes in place of the diamond logo.

Again, nothing is revealed, but our guess is that something is going to happen at either noon or midnight in the near future—possibly tonight. The clip seems to suggest the band are no longer Upside Down, a reference to their last full-length, which makes us think they’re continuing to make way for the new era.

ORIGINAL STORY: JULY 19, 5:40 P.M. EST

Set It Off have gone totally dark on social media, or rather totally blue.

The official Twitter account for the four-piece changed its profile picture and background photo to a solid blue hue. Each member—frontman Cody Carson, drummer Maxx Danziger and guitarists Zach DeWall and Dan Clermont—also followed suit. The same makeover happened across their Facebook page and Instagram accounts.

A few days ago, Set It Off posted a casting call for a music video they were shooting, but not much was revealed other than a shooting location in Los Angeles.

A few days after the casting call, they posted a mysterious video to their accounts showing their diamond logo first inspired by 2014 full-length Duality transforming into an hourglass shape. Each member reposted it, and none of their accounts have been active since then.

The band have been posting studio shots with the hashtag #SIOLP4 over the past few months, so we can only assume (and hope) this means new music and a new era is on the way soon.

If DeWall’s tweet from last month is any indication, it looks like it will be given that he was finally able to get rid of his Upside Down-era shot.
