Set It Off reschedule UK, Europe dates due to frontman’s vocal injury

Set It Off have postponed their forthcoming UK and European tour due to frontman Cody Carson’s ongoing vocal injury.

The band shared the news via Instagram that The Midnight World Tour Part 4 would have to be put on hold while Carson is recovering.

In the post, Set It Off shared a note from Carson explaining what’s been going on with his health and how he plans on making it up to fans.

“As you may already know, I have been battling a vocal injury back + forth for the past several months,” he wrote in the letter. “I ended up making it through a tour, but after that tour I followed up with my ENT + faced the inevitable. I was informed that I need to get vocal surgery. Having received this news, we have unfortunately had to postpone all touring.”

“This breaks my heart because I never want to let you down,” he continued. “Just know that I will be OK, I will come back stronger than ever, + we have already drafted up some new dates to make it up to you.”

As the note states, Set It Off have rescheduled the majority of their dates, with previous tickets still being valid at the new shows. However, they were unable to reschedule the Leipzig and Helsinki dates, so those patrons will be getting full refunds. Broadside will support at the majority of the gigs.

You can see the full Instagram post below as well as the newly rescheduled dates.

More Set It Off news

Back in July, Carson took to social media to share the wonderful news that he got engaged to longtime girlfriend Shay Phox.

And honestly, Carson deserves an award for the clever hashtag he included in the post.

Carson took to social media to share the news with friends and fans.

The use of “#Fianshay” takes the post to an entirely new level.
