‘Superbad’ star Seth Rogen has perfect response to fake McLovin ID arrest
By now, you may have caught wind of the viral story circulating the internet where a 20-year-old was arrested for underage drinking after using a McLovin driver’s license. Now, Superbad co-writer Seth Rogen has commented on the whole ordeal with a response that’s absolutely perfect.

For those who may be unaware, Daniel Alfredo Burleson of Des Moines was arrested by Iowa City Police Oct. 11.
He was charged with public intoxication, first offense under the legal age in a bar, first offense possession of alcohol under the legal age and possession of a fictitious license, ID card or form.
The fake ID in his possession just happened to be the one Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s character uses in the film Superbad.
It’s a terribly made Hawaiian ID with the single name “McLovin” on it.

According to reports, Burleson had a drink in his hand and bloodshot eyes when he was approached by police on Friday. While inside the bar, he refused to show his ID so he was escorted out.

Once outside, Burleson presented his real ID, telling police he did not have a fake. After searching through his wallet, police found his McLovin ID which allegedly purchased off of Amazon for $15.
He was then booked in Johnson County jail and released later that morning.
After catching wind of the story, Rogen retweeted the news post along with the caption, “My work here is done.”
