Cinemas, festivals, tours, and more have been postponed, canceled or closed over the global concern. Shaky Knees Festival would join a long list of cancellations or postponements including Coachella, SXSW and Ultra Music Festival.

According to a statement made by President Donald Trump earlier this week, the coronavirus pandemic could stretch into August. This came after the CDC recommended events with more than 50 people scheduled over the next 8 weeks be postponed, which would fall at about May 10.

Trump also made public a set of guidelines to hopefully stop the spread of the virus urging people to stay home and restrict gatherings to no more than 10. This would affect a number of upcoming festivals including Sonic Temple Fest, Epicenter Fest, Punk Rock Bowling, and many more.

Despite the uncertainty currently lingering over the Danny Wimmer Presents festivals scheduled in May, judging by the amount of cancellations or postponements that have already occurred, it seems likely that these events may be cancelled or postponed as well.
