On Monday, Sharon co-hosted an episode of The Talk from the comforts of her home. During the show, she revealed that she is unable to appear live in the studio because she is in quarantine.

“I was meant to be in the studio,” she says. “I was so looking forward to it and then, unfortunately, one of my granddaughters has come down with COVID.”

Sharon further explains that her granddaughter is doing well and no one else in the family has tested positive for coronavirus. It is believed that Minnie caught the virus from an individual that works with Jack.

“She’s okay, she’s doing good,” Sharon continues. “I don’t have it. Her daddy [Jack Osbourne] doesn’t have it. Her mommy doesn’t have it [and] her sisters don’t. She caught it from somebody that works for my son. And it just goes to show you, she’s three years of age, that children can get COVID.”

Sharon has completed one week of the two-week quarantine so far. She emphasizes that she does not have the virus, but is taking all precautions before returning to The Talk studio.

“And as I say, I don’t have it. I keep testing negative, but, you know, you have to be safe.”

At the start of the pandemic, Kelly Osbourne expressed her concern about Ozzy given his ongoing health problems and Parkinson’s diagnosis.

“You know my father has COPD, Parkinson’s and he is really, really high risk,” Kelly said. “They have told us how serious this is and I’m terrified.”

More recently, Ozzy said that he won’t get the coronavirus vaccine despite his Parkinson’s putting him at a higher risk. During an interview on Apple Music Hits’ Rock Classics Radio, he revealed that he doesn’t plan on getting the vaccine because of the unknown side effects.

“I’m not gonna be number one on that fucking new vaccine,” Ozzy said. “I don’t know want to be the first one to wake up with a set of fucking antlers in the morning.”

He also shared that he is still recovering from his past surgery and recent injuries.

“I’m trying to recover so I can get… The only good thing about this pandemic, I couldn’t work anyway because of my injuries. I’m hoping that I’ll be booking 2022, I think,” he said. “To be honest with you, I don’t think it’s gonna get ship shape until the end of next year. I think this winter is gonna be fucking bad, because you’re gonna have the flu. People are, ‘I’m not taking the flu shot.’ You know what? You can give me anything.”

Back in July, Sharon revealed that Ozzy is working on a follow up to his latest solo album Ordinary Man

“The album was sensational,” Sharon said. “He’s starting his second album with Andrew Watt right now. And you can’t stop him. He’s doing it.”
