The band originally announced the tour back in October in celebrating their 20th-anniversary together.

During the tour, the band will be performing three sets: Discovering the Waterfall in full, their greatest hits and a stripped-down acoustic set.

“It feels absolutely incredible to be celebrating 20 years as a band!” says vocalist
Shane Told. “It feels like just yesterday we were starting this thing in Josh’s basement –
singing out of Shel Silverstein books and National Geographic magazines – and here we
are embarking on our biggest tour ever. Playing three sets is definitely a huge
undertaking, but you only turn 20 once. I’m excited to give our fans the longest show of
our career – pulling out all the stops.”

Then, they ended up announcing the remainder of the dates they had were postponing due to ongoing concerns relating to the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, fans are getting some good news that they’re already planning their return. Silverstein have new tour dates announced beginning in the summer. Whether the shows will need to be postponed again if the situation evolves remains unseen but for now it’s great to see they’re ready to hit the road.

All originally purchased tickets will be honoured at the new shows. The tour is now kicking off in July with the first show happening in Toronto and carries on through August.
