Montreal pop-punk veterans Simple Plan are streaming a brand new single, titled “I Don't Wanna Be Sad,” a track that's tonally upbeat and cheery for the most part, contrasting with vocalist Pierre Bouvier's darkly depressive lyrical content. “I Don't Wanna Be Sad” follows the band's previous single, “Boom,” and is presumed to also be taken from Simple Plan's upcoming fifth studio album that's due out early next year.
