Skrillex shares hangs with Bring Me The Horizon's Oli Sykes

Electro-maestro Skrillex has been spotted hanging out with Bring Me The Horizon‘s Oli Sykes. But the candid images don’t come from a prying paparazzo, they’re being shared by the dubstep icon on his own Instagram account.

What’s more, Skrillex expresses his yen for the “MANTRA” musician’s friendly company on his latest social media post. While identifying the BMTH frontman as “inspiring,” he says he misses hanging out with his musical companion in Sykes.

Miss this inspiring guy @olobersykes

“Miss this inspiring guy,” Skrillex writes of the unposed photo set, Sykes’ Insta handle tagged just thereafter. And the four shots appear to show the two musicians casually shooting the breeze in a backstage setting from the recent past.

It’s definitely not the first time that Sykes and Skrillex have teamed up. Back in 2015, video emerged of the pair of performers getting together on a live run-through of early Bring Me The Horizon banger “Sleep With One Eye Open.”

Which makes sense considering Skrillex’s two post-hardcore tenures in From First To Last. The electronic musician—whose real name is Sonny Moore—cut his teeth with the Florida screamo scions. And then he reunited with the act in 2017.

The multi-faceted EDM performer also participated in at least one Bring Me The Horizon remix in the past—a particular version of “The Sadness Will Never End”—which you can further investigate in this enlightening Reddit thread.

As for Bring Me The Horizon, they just released their latest album effort, amo, and you can read all about it in the pages of AP! See Sykes and the group in issue 365, available for purchase at the AP Store along with various bundle options:

So what do you think of these informal images of Skrillex with the Bring Me The Horizon vocalist? Do the pics of Sonny and Sykes make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Sound off with your thoughts on the unlikely duo in the comments section!
