Skrillex sued by fan over 2012 stage diving incident

According to TMZ (so take this one with a grain of salt), Sonny Moore, better known by his stage name Skrillex, is being sued by a fan, who alleges that the DJ landed on her during a stage dive at a 2012 Los Angeles performance, later causing her to suffer a stroke.

The performance in question took place Feb. 11, 2012, at a pre-Grammy party at a club called The Belasco.

Further details are scant, but the venue has also been named in the suit, with the plaintiff seeking unspecified damages to cover medical expenses, loss of income, and more. So far, neither Skrillex nor The Belasco have commented on the matter.

TMZ also managed to dig up a video from the show, though it's unclear whether the stage dive depicted is the one in question:

Skrillex is expected to release new music early this year. His former band, From First To Last, have also made plans to reunite, though, as of yet, Moore has not been involved.
