Skrillex plays Webster Hall's final club night, closes chapter on music history

Our hearts crumbled at the announcement that the iconic Webster Hall would be closing for an indefinite amount of time while it underwent major renovations. The final club night at Webster Hall is August 5, and who better to close this chapter on music history than Skrillex

According to Webster's current director of operations Gerard McNamee's Facebook post, the 1,500 capacity East Village venue has been sold to the corporate owners behind Barclays/AEG/Bowrey Presents, and will be closing down for renovations and corporate overhaul. 

To celebrate the 25 years of history as well as the final club night at Webster Hall, Skrillex will be peforming alongside OWSLA's latest signee, Ekali.

Webster Hall has hosted many rock legends over the years, from Elvis Presley to Metallica, and countless bands from our scene, like Green Day, The Story So Far, and Senses Fail.
