Sleep On It compete in playful dare competition in "After Tonight" video

Sleep On It dropped a new song called “After Tonight” and a music video to go with it that’s all about a little friendly competition.

The new song is from the band’s upcoming album Pride & Disaster out this Friday.

The new upbeat song is pretty lighthearted and fun, which matches the music video where the band competes in teams to do various dares such as taking shots and doing skateboarding tricks to see who can complete the most dares.

The overall vibe of the song matches the band’s goal with the next record — to spread a little positivity.

“One of the big things we focused on when making this record was not only writing sad songs,” vocalist Zech Pluister said of the album in a release. “Going along with the theme of growth, we wanted to show that there is more to life than just being sad. As hard as life is, there are still good days, and we really wanted that thought to be present in this record. It doesn’t seem fair to us to only portray the hard times.”

It’s honestly hard to watch the video for “After Tonight” without smiling a little bit at how much fun Sleep On It are having filming it. You can see it below.

Prior to “After Tonight,” the band dropped “Under This Moment” and “Hold Your Breath”. You can listen to those tracks below.
