Slipknot announce locations for 2020 European tour
Slipknot have confirmed they will be embarking on a massive European tour in 2020 after quite a bit of teasing.
The band unveiled a mysterious poster at Download Festival this year that insinuated they were planning another tour.

In the area where bands post upcoming tours and albums at the festival, a single black rectangle was posted with the Slipknot logo and the words “Live. 2020.”

Now, we have confirmation that it’s actually happening, at least in Europe.
The band wrote on Twitter the cities in Europe they’d be touring, but have yet to announce the dates yet.
“We’ll be returning to select cities across Europe & the UK in 2020, with dates and venues to be announced at a later time. To get early access to tickets for these dates, pre-order #WeAreNotYourKind from the official Roadrunner Store starting now,” the band wrote.

It’s a great time to be a maggot. Not only does Slipknot plan to release their next record We Are Not Your Kind next month, but they’re beefing up the upcoming Knotfest Roadshow.
Not only will fans enjoy a lineup stacked with metal heavy-hitters, the band will offer a “specially curated” look at the band’s history with the Slipknot Museum.
The mobile exhibit will feature including a plethora of “never-before-seen memorabilia,” including instruments, props and masks.
The band shared a peek at the exhibit on Twitter, showing a few of the pieces to be featured at the festival.
“The #KnotfestRoadshow will feature an immersive exhibit from throughout the band’s history complete with instruments, memorabilia, wardrobe and personal never-before-seen items. Grab your VIP packages now for guaranteed access,” the tweet reads.

To access the showcase fans will need to invest in a VIP ticket package. Two tiers are being offered along with exclusive merchandise, photo privileges and early access to the festival.
