Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor undergoes double knee surgery

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor is undergoing surgery in both his knees, he told his fans on Friday.

Taylor took to Instagram to post a picture from his hospital bed to tell his followers what was going on in his life.

Surgery in both knees today- soon I’ll be worth Six Million Dollars!! See you all soon! #bionic#leemajors,” he wrote in his caption.

This is far from the only taste of the album we’ve got. The band recently dropped another teaser about their upcoming album with a heavily distorted vocal clip that fans think contain lyrics from the album. You can hear that for yourself below.

Taylor has previously said the new album contains the band’s heaviest song yet. He also added that the band’s at their “most ambitious, our most experimental” on the forthcoming album.

The album still doesn’t have a name, but we do know it’s set to drop Aug. 9, and if the band continue teasers like this, we’ll be watching closely.

Taylor has also been teasing us with his new Slipknot mask, which you can see below.
