Slipknot unveil epic Knotfest At Sea lineup with Anthrax, Behemoth, more

Slipknot just announced the lineup for their very special inaugural cruise Knotfest At Sea. The lineup is stacked with incredible bands. Anthrax, Behemoth, Devildriver, Sevendust, Skindred, Ho99o9, Higher Power and Sleep Token will all join them on the ship. Plus, even more bands are yet to be announced.

The voyage was announced in November and will set sail off the coast of Barcelona this summer.

The band announced the cruise in November on their social media accounts. The fest will be taking place on Aug. 10-14 this year with Slipknot performing two sets during the event. In addition to the Slipknot sets, the cruise will also feature a live Q&A with band members, a Sid DJ/MC set, a Slipknot Whiskey Tasting & Discussion with Clown, a signing with Mick Thomson, a drum workshop with Jay Weinberg, a bass clinic with VMan and 20 years of Slipknot memorabilia showcased throughout the ship.

So now, in addition to all of those goodies, attendees get to see a host of incredible bands.

“Maggots and Legions! Our momentous tour with Slipknot comes to an end in a few days and it’s been our biggest in Europe to date,” Behemoth frontman, Nergal says. “But I’m beyond excited that our comradeship with Slipknot ain’t over yet… for we’re teaming up with them again for Knotfest At Sea! We look forward to feasting again this Summer!”

Devildriver frontman Dez Fafara shared his similar sentiments.

“DevilDriver is extremely honored to be asked to play the first Knotfest At Sea cruise! We cannot wait to sail the high seas together with Slipknot and this killer line-up of bands. So raise the Skull & Crossbones and prepare for a party at sea”.

 

The inaugural cruise is sure to be one hell of a party. Rooms are already on sale with flexible payment plans available here. Slipknot also said that even more bands will be announced.

Knotfest at Sea isn’t the only show that the masked metallers are playing in 2020 though. The band has a massive schedule of touring planned for this year.

Their second Knotfest Roadshow kicks off in May. The 17-show tour is bringing along A Day To RememberUnderoath and Code Orange.

They’re currently on a massive European tour, from which they’ll head to Asia. Then, they’ll play Sonic Temple Music and Arts Festival in May before rocking metal fans to the core with 2020’s Knotfest Roadshow. Then a few more festivals, Knotfest at Sea, and Knotfest UK.
