Slipknot announce the first-ever Knotfest UK for 2020

Slipknot are continuing to expand Knotfest by announcing the first-ever U.K. event. The news comes shortly after the band revealed the first Knotfest At Sea cruise.

Headlined by the band, they’ll be heading to the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on Aug. 22. This event marks the first time Slipknot have played the iconic U.K. venue since Ozzfest 2001.

More on Slipknot

Slipknot fans may have finally have the proof they need to identify the persona of the recently added percussionist known as Tortilla Man.

The theory bases its claim off some video footage taken before Knotfest Mexico. It shows a musician traveling with the band that also has ties to an important member of Slipknot.

Slipknot arrived in Mexico earlier this week for Knotfest Mexico but ended up canceling the show due to some pretty serious safety concerns. But video footage of the band arriving at the airport shows a previously unknown member. There is also footage of the band’s arrival in Costa Rica showing the same man.

Fans began speculating that this unrelated musician must be the Tortilla Man. Tortilla Man joined the band as a percussionist for their tour of We Are Not Your KindThe main theory of Tortilla Man’s identity began in August and this footage appears to all but confirms the speculation.

Slipknot fans believe the newest member is Michael Pfaff. The footage shows what appears to be Pfaff traveling with the band in both videos. But the real point that drives home the theory is that Pfaff has performed in the band Dirty Little Rabbit. Dirty Little rabbit is a side project of Slipknot founding member Shawn “Clown” Crahan. Crahan is one of the two percussionists in Slipknot. Watch the footage here.
