‘NXT’ go all out with Slipknot theme song

NXT may have found the perfect sound for their opening sequence, making Slipknot the latest band to leave their mark on the WWE world.

The band’s latest single, “All Out Life,” must have made an impression on someone in the ring, now serving as the new theme for the wrestling show.

Wrestler-turned-COO Triple H shared the news via Twitter yesterday, along with a hype video backed by the hard-hitting Slipknot track.

Slipknot follow in the footsteps of numerous bands who have lent their sound to wrestlers over the years, featuring walk-in music from Metallica, Disturbed, Motörhead and Limp Bizkit, among others.

Papa Roach also serves as the opening sequence track for WWE RAW, rounding out a solid lineup of themes for wrestling shows overall.

This is the latest news concerning Slipknot since teasing vocals from their highly anticipated sixth album, which is expected later this year.

The album still doesn’t have a name, but we do know it’s set to drop Aug. 9. Now, we have even more to speculate on.

The band shared some eerie vocal samples on Twitter recently, giving a sneak peek at what the new album might sound like.

The video shows some horror-inspired imagery, with distorted Corey Taylor vocals that could be off the new album.

Our only taste of the follow-up to .5: The Gray Chapter so far was the band’s latest single, “All Out Life,” but the new video should get fans excited for what’s to come in August.

Check out the video below.

Additionally, the band recently announced The Knotfest Roadshow North America tour, hitting the road this July with Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth. Tickets are on sale now, with dates below.
