Slipknot cover band fan gets way too amped during show, hits head with baseball bat

It’s not likely that you would see a policeman perform with a Slipknot cover band, and it’s also not likely that you see a man hit his own head with a baseball bat. Well, that’s just what happened at a music festival in Northampton in England, and the footage is incredible.

The spectacle took place at Sixfields Rock Festival during Slipknowt’s performance of “Duality.” (And notice the cover band’s clever spelling—the entire situation is just too good.)

While it's not Slipknowt, Slipknot's Corey Taylor says he wants the band's new album to be “violent” and “uncomfortable,” according to his recent interview, and we can't wait to hear what they share with us next.

Slipknot also announced that they will not be playing this year's Knotfest, which they founded back in 2012, but Taylor explains that “your festival has to live past you, or it's not gonna live at all.” Plus, in lieu of Slipknot, Taylor will be performing with Stone Sour at Knotfest.
