The image, however, it totally fake. It’s a photoshopped creation of two different images of the two different cultural icons put together. People were quick to call out Snoop Dogg on the internet.

Snoop Dogg has yet to comment on the allegations, so it probably is likely that he has no idea the photo was fake. It’s unclear if he did ever meet Cobain and maybe engage in a smoke session, but it is possible considering both of their star power in the ‘90s.

More Nirvana news

Kurt Cobain‘s daughter Frances Bean Cobain seems to be following in her dad’s musical footsteps, now sharing a heartfelt song describing grief and loss.

Frances shared an acoustic snippet on her Instagram early this morning, possibly referencing her late father.

The “sad song” also describes the singer having a hard time looking at her own face, since it resembles the subject of the song.

Cobain attached lyrics to the song in the caption of her post, also thanking her followers for their support and kind words.
“be forewarned , these are clips of a very sad song but it’s raw and truthful so i wanted to share it.
I know you weren’t meant to stay in this place
Sometimes I find it hard to look at
My own face
Maybe one day I will talk to you
If I’m lucky it won’t be too soon
They say I’m soft and resemble an
Angel
What happens to angels
When they die

Music coming soonish y’all. thanks for the continued interest and words of encouragement. I see them all and they make my heart full,” the caption reads.

Frances has become known for sharing her music on Instagram, previously covering Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and Jimmy Eat World‘s “The Middle,” in addition to her own songs.

Cobain has hinted at plans of turning her covers into a fully realized musical career, following comments she had made at a red carpet event where she told an interviewer that she could see herself further pursuing a career in music.

Nonetheless, all eyes will be on Cobain for more releases in the future, and we’ll be patiently waiting until then.
