Soccer Mommy has just announced a new album titled Sometimes, Forever, out June 24 via Loma Vista. With the announcement comes the single “Shotgun,” plus an accompanying music video.
In addition, Soccer Mommy has announced the first tour dates in support of Sometimes, Forever across the pond, with U.S. tour dates coming soon.
According to a press release, “Shotgun” compares love to a “chemical high without the gnarly comedown.” Soccer Mommy, otherwise known as Sophie Allison, further explained the meaning behind the single as being, “all about the joys of losing yourself in love.” She continues, “I wanted it to capture the little moments in a relationship that stick with you.”
Soccer Mommy is currently on tour in the United States in support of her sophomore album, color theory. Grab tickets for all tour dates here.
