Someone set a new 'Donkey Kong' world record

The Donkey Kong world record has changed hands once again. On Jan. 3, seasoned Donkey Kong competitor Wes Copeland set the new world record with a score of 1,190,000 on the classic 1981 arcade game. This certified success comes after a previous brief triumph in September, where Copeland held the record for a total of three hours at 1,170,500, before it was quickly beaten by rival Robbie Langman at 1,172,100. Copeland's record setting run netted him $2,000 in winnings, which you can watch the video of below!
