There's a new 'Star Wars' spin-off coming in 2020

It seems likeStar Wars won't be over any time soon. After announcing it has 10 more years of sequels planned for the trilogy—including a Han Solo tale and a TV series—, Lucasfilm is now rumored to be working on a story about Obi-Wan Kenobi. The movie is set to start filming in Jan. 2019, according to Omega Underground.

The website reported Ewan McGregor is expected to reprise his role as Luke Skywalker's mentor on the production, which will be directed by Stephen Daltry and filmed at Pinewood Studios UK. The movie's working tittle is rumored to be Joshua Tree, inspired by the location where Star Wars: A New Hope was filmed.

Omega Underground predicts Obi-Wan Kenobi's story could hit the theaters as soon as May 2020, making it the first film in the Star Wars universe to be released after J. J. Abrams' Episode IX is released in Dec. 2019.
