Starbucks pop-up parties giving away select free drinks to close out 2019

Starting today, Starbucks is hosting Pop-Up Parties in select cities around the United States. What does this mean? Well, from Dec. 27-31, the coffee giant is giving away free tall espresso beverages from 1-2 pm.

Most of your favorites drinks from the Starbucks menu are included from peppermint mochas to a simple latte and more.

In a press release, Starbucks outlines the official details surrounding the Pop-Up Parties.

Beginning December 27 through December 31, the Pop-Up Parties will take place at more than 200 Starbucks stores daily from 1–2 p.m. local time. Customers who visit a participating store will receive a free tall handcrafted espresso beverage of their choice, hot or iced, including Peppermint Mochas, Iced Toasted White Chocolate Mochas, lattes, macchiatos and more (one per customer). 

The Pop-Up locations do change daily to keep things fresh. You can check out which stores in your area are hosting a Pop-Up Party at the website here. The map is super simple to use. Just select your state, and Starbucks shows you all the locations hosting a Pop-Up Party every day.

A free tall espresso drink is quite the deal, considering the delicious choices they have with their holiday beverages this year.

The menu includes classic favorites such as the Peppermint Mocha and the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. In addition, this year also sees the Caramel Brulée Latte, the Chestnut Praline Latte and the Eggnog Latte.

If you’re a massive Starbucks fan, you’d probably be interested in trying all the different holiday drinks around the world. Japan features the Santa Boots Frappuccino. This drink includes chocolate sauce and chocolate chips. Next, it’s topped with crispy potato chips and finished with an edible cookie straw.

If coffee isn’t your thing, Starbucks in Mexico has just what you’re looking for. The Ponche Navideño, or Christmas punch. This is a blend of hibiscus tea with apple, guava, cinnamon and brown sugar.

Starbucks is serving up all the holiday favorites until sometime in January. Get them while they last.
